1960s Octagon Box Purse with Illustrations
For the ‘cabinet of curiosity’ kind of collectors, this whimsical midcentury box purse is such a treasure! This has 8 sides and features various illustrations of children and pastoral scenes. It is made from what feels like a composite material of wood and plastic. The handle is either lucite or bakelite and the lid is hinged and reveals a red flocked interior with an oval mirror.

Radius (outer edge to edge) - 18 cm
Height - 15.25 cm
Condition - the interior shows some wear with distress points on the flocking, please check photos.
